About us

Underwear that accentuates your curves and feels so comfortable you hardly know you're wearing it. That's exactly what was missing on the market. That's why we decided to start producing our own – from designing the cuts to selecting the most comfortable materials. All with the aim of combining femininity, beauty, and comfort. And now you can wear it too! Our first bamboo panties saw the light of day in the spring of 2020, and since 2021 we have been sewing them under the new Mioora brand.

How does it work?

We source our bamboo fabric from a Czech manufacturer. By purchasing Mioora underwear, you are supporting local production. It is not mass-produced on a large industrial line, but is made by hand by our seamstresses in the heart of the Beskydy Mountains. We pack your orders in an environmentally friendly way – in cardboard boxes. The products themselves are additionally protected by tissue paper during transport. The next shipment could be headed your way.

Who is behind the brand?

The brand was originally founded by two friends, Radka and Míša. Founder Radka started with bamboo panties because she couldn't find comfortable underwear made from natural materials that suited her, and she was inspired by both her grandmother and her gynecologist's recommendation. First, she had a seamstress create her own designs and sold them through her own e-shop while she was still a student.
She then teamed up with Michaela Steinhauser, and together they founded the Mioora brand in 2021. As often happens, both became mothers, and their priorities changed.

My name is Lucka, and since the end of 2025, I have been behind the Czech brand Mioora. The first time I had the opportunity to wear a piece of underwear, I immediately fell in love with Mioora's lingerie. When the opportunity to take over Mioora arose, I hesitated only for a few moments. I quickly decided to go for it 😊

I know it won't be an easy journey. But I'm really looking forward to it because I believe in the products and the brand.

You're probably wondering how things will work at Mioora now. I'm definitely not alone in this. I have a team of great colleagues who will make sure your packages arrive safely at their destination with the products you ordered. They will answer all your questions and will be happy to help you choose the right underwear 😊

We are also planning new additions to our range. We can already reveal that we will be expanding some of our popular underwear models to include size XXL. We also have some completely new items in the pipeline, but we're keeping those under wraps for now. 😊

Upcycling: effectively using production waste

Sewing produces scraps. We felt sorry to throw them away and thought about how to use the leftover fabric. So we started sewing scrunchies—fabric hair ties that hold any ponytail or bun in place. This little thing brings joy and helps reduce waste from our production to a minimum.
