How to choose underwear? 4 tips to help you make the right choice

Though not visible at first glance, it affects the appearance of your entire outfit and how you feel throughout the day. Well-fitting underwear can work wonders – it makes you feel comfortable and also visually enhances your figure. But how do you choose it?

You will find hundreds of items in stores, and choosing the right one can be tricky. We have decided to put together a few tips to help you figure out what underwear you need and what to look for when choosing it.

1. The right size is essential

Women often make mistakes when choosing sizes, especially when it comes to bras, but panties are no exception. Underwear that is too large does not stay in place—you have to constantly adjust and pull it up. Tight underwear, on the other hand, presses and cuts into the skin, which can cause health problems in the long run, not to mention that the marks show up unattractively under clothing and leave bruises on the body after undressing.

What to look for when choosing the size of your underwear?

• A bra supports your breasts and shapes your cleavage. When trying it on, raise your arms above your head—it should not slide up. If it does, you have chosen too large a band size. Be careful with small cups; your breasts should not spill over the sides. Also check the straps to make sure they don't dig in or slip down.
• Panties should fit snugly around the waist, buttocks, and thighs. They should not pinch anywhere. Panties that are too loose are also not a good choice, as they will shift around under your pants or skirt.
• When choosing lingerie online, follow the size chart and measure yourself accurately with a tape measure. Each manufacturer may have slightly different sizes and size labels.

2. Don't underestimate the material of your underwear

The material touches your skin all day long. Keep this in mind when you see lots of attractive items at low prices in chain stores, but with a label saying 100% polyester. You're better off leaving them there and choosing a natural material that is breathable and wicks away sweat. This is especially important for panties – synthetic materials cause unnecessary sweating, which can lead to gynecological problems. 

As a result, you will save money because high-quality underwear will last much longer, will not fade, and will retain its shape. Together with the right size and cut, this will greatly help ensure that your underwear fits properly.

Which underwear material should you choose?

• Bamboo viscose.  After extensive testing, we also chose bamboo and use it to sew our underwear. It is very pleasant to the touch, absorbent, and breathable, while also adapting nicely to the body.
• Cotton. The most popular natural material. With a higher fabric weight, it takes a little longer to dry.
• Viscose or rayon. This is "artificial silk," which is not purely natural, but is made from wood or cotton. It is absorbent and soft to the touch.

3. Find your cut
