Kukui nut oil

Kukui nut oil is exceptionally light and absorbs well into the skin, while deeply hydrating it. Its secret lies in skin-friendly fatty acids and a high content of vitamins A and E. It is rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid and contains only a small amount of oleic fatty acid. The skin is not oily, but soft and silky. Thanks to the balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and its natural antimicrobial properties, it is suitable for all skin types and can also help with eczema and acne.

Kukui is a tropical rainforest tree.

Its exact origin is not entirely known, as people carried it everywhere they settled. The oldest evidence of the use of this tree and its nuts dates back 13,000 years on the tropical islands of Southeast Asia.

Indigenous people prepared food from nuts by roasting and steaming them, but in Hawaii, the kukui tree also held exceptional spiritual and religious significance. In Hawaii, the healing properties of kukui nut oil were soon discovered and it was also used as part of religious rituals.

Storage

It is best to store natural cosmetics in a cooler and dry place.
